Sadly, they're gone. MIDWEST AIRLINES was a treat to fly. All first class seating!
MIDWEST N166HQ (Embraer ERJ-190AR) on approach, just over the Missouri River, Omaha, NE. Midwest Airlines, a favorite for two decades took us from Omaha to Seattle for a tour of Mt. Rainier. Except for the unexpected delay, due to equipment failure, we had a great ride out and back. Alas, Midwest is now Frontier (Republic Air), but the chocolate chip cookies have survived! The Embraer 190 is smaller than the DC-9s that Midwest used to fly and for my money, they don't ride as nicely on approach to Washington Reagan in crosswinds. You certainly know that you're in a smaller, lighter craft.
